Baltimore Housing - Model North-East View

This is a project to design a new housing development in a section of Baltimore, MD. approximately ten blocks from Camden Yards Stadium. The site is located on a corner street within range of a recently restored and updated offices and stores including Potbelly, Starbucks and the like. The area is rich with history but looking to be filled with young families and energetic up-and-comers.

The site had a maximum height restriction of 100' feet. Given the location of the site, the building needs to attract young people and young couples. So, it needs to bold and innovative. To this end, it incorporates green technologies such as terraced outdoor gardens and trellises as well as power efficient apartments. It is within walking distance of food, shopping, public transport, and entertainment.
